Guest Policies and Conditions
Advanced Payment
An advanced reservation payment of fifty (50) percent is required to confirm your reservation at time of booking. Advanced reservation payments are not damage deposits. Advanced reservation payments are made by credit card, bank transfer, or check. Any remaining balances are due forty-five (45) days prior to arrival date. Reservations made within forty-five (45) days of arrival date require full payment at time of booking. Reservations made on this site will require a deposit of half the rental amount to confirm booking, with the remaining half, taxes and fees, as well as the damage deposit due two (2) days prior to arrival.
Confirmations
Upon receipt of your final advanced reservation payment, your reservation confirmation will be emailed to you with directions and arrival instructions. Please print all sheets.
Rates
Rates are subject to change without notice if the rental is unbooked because rates are based on a dynamic booking system and are updated daily based on local occupancy. Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows reserves the right to correct misquoted rates. Weekly rates should be requested by emailing Tyler directly for better pricing.
Taxes
Pinellas County tax is 6%. State tax is 7%. Total tax is 14%. Guests are responsible for paying all taxes.
Processing Fees
At this time there are no processing fees.
Additional Fees
A non-refundable housekeeping fee will be charged to all reservations. Housekeeping fees vary by property size.
Cancellation Policy
It is strongly encouraged that all guests purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance. A Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) option may be available and typically must be purchased within a specified time frame. Guests choosing not to purchase travel insurance may cancel up to 6 weeks prior to their scheduled arrival date and receive a refund of the advanced payment, minus a $100 cancellation fee.
Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows does not give refunds for man-made or unsupported emergencies (anything where Pass-A-Grille Beach is not under a mandatory evacuation zone) and/or for technological disasters.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Notice of cancellation by guest must be in writing or email. If notified 60 days prior to arrival, a full refund of any amount paid will be issued less $100 in administrative fees. If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, you will receive a refund for the cleaning fee and 50% of any amount paid. Trip insurance is recommended. Guest will be charged a $100 administrative fee for changes to reservations.
Note: If you rented through VR/HomeAway, their service charge paid in the initial payment will not be refunded as it was paid to them and not to Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows.
Parking and Keys
Please display your designated parking pass at all times if parked on the street. Additional designated parking areas on the property will be explained in your Check-In/Welcome email. Return the parking pass and any bicycle lock keys to your rental before departure. There is a $500 fee for losing the parking pass. We are allowed one pass per rental per year.
Pet Policy
Pets must be approved in advance by the owner and must be non-aggressive toward other animals, adults, or children. A health note from your vet dated within 30 days of travel is required, indicating the pet is on a flea treatment/heartworm program. Email or mail a copy. A copy of your pet’s health certificate is required 3 weeks prior to arrival. You are responsible for picking up after your animal. A non-refundable $85 cleaning fee is required for pet owners.
CSA Travel Protection Insurance
The insurance premium is 6.95% of your total reservation amount and can be added at the time of booking. To file a claim with CSA Travel Insurance call 800-554-9839.
Hurricanes/Tropical Storms
No refunds will be made due to hurricanes or tropical storms, including mandatory evacuations. Refunds for hurricane or tropical storm evacuations are only available through travel insurance, per the insurer’s policy.
Check-In Time
Check-in begins at 4 p.m. local time. Access may be delayed due to cleaning or maintenance. Early arrivals are not guaranteed. No refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
Check-Out Time
Check-out is no later than 10 a.m. local time on the scheduled day of departure. Late departures may incur an additional fee. Guests are expected to leave the property neat, take out all trash, clean all dishes, and pull bed linens and towels. Excessive cleaning may incur additional charges.
Family Rentals
All properties are for family and adult rentals only. No properties will be rented to vacationing students or adults under 25 unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. A parent or guardian must be staying in the property at all times. Violators will be evicted and forfeit all rental payments and deposits. In accordance with Florida Statute 509.141, reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed.
Property Damage
Please report any damages found upon arrival immediately. An active credit card is required to maintain the reservation and the integrity of the property. By making a reservation you waive your right to dispute charges made to your credit card regarding this policy. Non-billing stipulations include:
- No damage to the property or theft
- No violations of rental policies
- Rental is left in a neat and orderly condition
- All garbage is removed from the property
Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows reserves the right to bill the credit card for violations of this policy.
Minimum Stay Requirements
All properties require a three (3) night minimum. In some cases a minimum stay of one (1) night will be allowed, at the owner’s discretion.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not allowed in any property. Violations will incur an additional fee.
Subletting
Reservations are not transferable.
Maintenance
Please report any maintenance issues during your stay. Orders are handled in the order received. Staff and authorized vendors may enter the properties to respond to maintenance or housekeeping issues during your stay. There are no refunds or adjustments for maintenance issues or unforeseen failures such as electricity, water, telephone, television, cable or satellite providers, appliances, or air conditioning.
Internet
Internet access is provided at no additional charge but is not guaranteed. Accessing internet content during your stay is at your own risk; ensure any accessed material does not violate laws regarding copyright, trademarks, pornography, or content deemed slanderous, defamatory, or offensive. No refunds will be given due to loss of internet service.
Beach Towels
Beach towels are provided. Do not remove towels, sheets, blankets, or furniture from the property.
Housekeeping
An initial supply of coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, trash liners, toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher soap is provided. Once depleted, guests should purchase additional supplies as needed.
Neighborhood Rules
Most neighborhoods have strict rules regarding parking, garbage removal, neighbor privacy, and noise levels. For questions about restrictions, please contact us. Guests are encouraged to be good neighbors.
Long-Term Rentals/Mailboxes
Use of a mailbox is not guaranteed. No long-term rentals over 30 days are allowed.
Disclaimer
The renter agrees that Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows shall not be liable to renter, renter’s guests, invitees, or any person for any injury, loss, or damage to any person or property on or about the rental premises. Renter shall hold Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows harmless and indemnified from and against all loss or damage occasioned by use, misuse, or abuse of any part of or fixture on the premises and surrounding areas, and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of the renter, his/her guests, or invitees. The renter acknowledges that Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows, acting solely in the capacity of property owner, assumes no liability hereunder.
